The land lies under a curse. Fruit drops to the ground, its pulp black and rotten. Leaves curl and wither on the branches. Animals flee the parched vale, or starve.
Long ago, these downs prospered under the care of Druids. But the priests of nature have retreated deep into the woods and rarely show themselves. One old man claims that the Druids have the power to save the valley, if only someone could find their Oracle to seek help. Will you reach the Forest Oracle of the Druids in time? And if you do, can they really lift the curse?
Or does the answer lie elsewhere?
Only the most daring and cunning adventurers will save the village. For character levels 2-4.

I've modified the adventure to 2nd edition and set it in the Godskull Mountains (the Snowflakes rechristened) region of the Forgotten Realms. This area was once the Duchy of Erlkazar, loyal to the King of Tethyr. But I've set the game in 1355 DR, so Tethyr is a seething cauldron of tyranny and violence. Amn is the dominant power in the region and has conquered Erlkazar in order to take control of the trade route to the Vilhon Reach. I'm familiar with R.A. Salvatore's Cleric Quintet series and I'll namedrop some of the locations, but they won't play much of a role in this particular adventure.

I anticipate taking 6 - 8 players on a journey into the old-fashioned Forgotten Realms. You'll start out at 3rd level and having adventured together for about a year. I hope for a good balance of characters, but please no half-dragons or Chaotic Good drow rangers. The game will be a mostly wilderness adventure focusing on role-playing but with a few stiff fights. No pouting if your character dies, I can always find you someone or something to play.
