Good point. I'd disregarded advancing the pawn because as
it is now it covers one of Jack's king's movements and
because between Tox's queen-to-be and Jacks castle, the
dark team has a distinct advantage on the a1-8 line.
However, being able to throw a queen onto that line, even
as a sacrifice, could be useful.

Pushing and promoting the queen takes the same two moves as
setting up and deploying a (different) check against Jack,
so I'm still looking around for whether there's some more
powerful position I could take. Still, I think you're
probably right. Either way, I'll make my move shortly.
