You're correct, Paul. However I'm going to point out something that is obvious
both to you and me, but certainly not to many people on these gaming circles: to
be critical of something you need to know it first. I may not be critical enough
for your standards, but I believe in giving every book, no matter how
insignificant-looking it is, a fair chance.

I watched that a long time ago (must have been about 14 at the time). I agree
with Demian that the atmosphere in that film was incredible. It's also
responsible for my second Asian infatuation ever (and before Leigh asks, I only
have infatuations with females).
I wonder why it was only several years later, after Crouching Tiger Hidden
Dragon that Wuxia films became cool in the west?
