Joe Lux Challenges Sam Sloan on Books on the USCF Issues Forum   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #32392 of 32495 |

[quote="Joe
Lux"]

Sam, when you organize a
tournament that offers a quarter of a million dollars in prize monies,
you too can put up signs promoting whatever you want at it.

Mike Nolan
How about me as a publisher of chess books. I am not allowed to post a
list of the 50 chess books I have published here, under the "no
advertising" rule. However, Bill Goichberg is allowed to discuss all
the chess tournaments he runs all he wants.

All I ask is a level playing field. The playing field here is not level.

This is in addition to the fact that I am not allowed to say what I
want. Every post I make is carefully screened in advance. I believe
that I am the only candidate treated that way.

Sam Sloan
On this limited case, I have to agree with Sam. Bill can list and
discuss his many worthwhile tournaments, which is his business.

OK Sam. I question you as a candidate that your statement that you
have published 50 chess books is false. Prove your statement!

All the best, Joe Lux
I question Sam's statement about publishing 50 books. He has the right
to answer that here as a candidate.

All the best, Joe Lux
Alright. Since you insist, here is a list of the chess books I have
published, mostly within the last year. Under the Rules of the USCF
Issues Forum, as set by Bill Goichberg, when challenged one must
provide "substantial proof" that his statement is true. Here is my
substantial proof. Not only a list of my chess books, but links to
reputable booksellers where these books can be purchased:
