...and a best of both worlds would be to have an electronic deck. A handheld device of some sort that can be easily carried around and linked up with other F2F players OR logged into the 'net for play there on a more virtual play area. Collect cards via store bought codes (scannables or alpha-numeric stuffs to input)... and online. Heck, a device could actually store all current card info and be programmed to auto-unlock one at random for so many wins or something... or set to gamble a card against another player...

Boy is my mind whirling today!
Sorry for the ramble...

But anyway, i haven't played with any SW CCGs since the first couple sets of Decipher's original one. Never played Young Jedi at all... but my sons love them all.

What I like about the idea of the on line card game is they are still
making the cards, you can play anyone just about any time, you don't
have to carry around a box of cards, any image from the sw universe can
be made.

It makes another step towards a paperless society.
