Description

This group is a forum and meeting place for players and users of the cardtable program (http://go.to/cardtable), which lets you play CCGs/TCGs online- to get together and arrange games, or to find out more information on games, get screenshots, and download files. Tournament listings will be posted here as well. NOTE: please be sure and vote in the polls as they will determine things such as what games will be developed next, what/when tournaments will be, etc.

Ok, I finally loaded up my own program again. I forgot some of the stuff I added towards the end. It's not too bad of a program. I think it is pretty clean.

Java was chosen mainly for portability, as I said. One of the issues with creating a multi-OS client is ensuring that the GUI is uniform across the platforms.

I did notice that once I got the source downloaded. I am not sure I am ready to take this on, but I am considering it. I never really liked Java's GUI

I think one of the differences is that most of those other programs released clients but maintained the servers themselves. With GCCG, it's all out there for
