I don't understand the physics of it but it seems to me that is sometimes an indication of dirty contacts. Not to say all sparking of contacts is abnormal but

Thanks, I will give it a try! But i must ad that one switches on the pop bumper relay has a significantly larger blue spark as all the other better functioning

Need a Bally up post assembly
Does anyone have a complete Bally up post assembly for a late sixties EM, just picked up a King Tut and the entire under playfield assembly is missing? Thanks

Robert, Make sure both sets of switches on the pop bumpers are properly adjusted and clean. Symptom sounds like dirty switches.   Dave ... From: xxxtattoo1
