Sorry to bother You but I serched on the group answers and I found nothing...
Can someone explain me, maybe with some examples, how the gliding procedure
works?
I know that a plane can glide only if forced by situations like "out of fuel" or
"engine destroyed", and that you must select only manouver 2, 3 or 8...
The thing that I don't well understand is the losing altitude sections, probably
due to some language problems (I'm Italian and some obvious things for a native
language guy reading the rules isn't so obvious for a foreigner):
- if manouver 2 or 8 is selected, the aircraft must lose 1 altitude level every
other turn.
- if manouver 3 is selected, the aircraft must lose 1 altitude level every turn.
What this mean? Isn't it the same thing?
Thanks for the help.
Cheers,
Alberto
