Most of the mailing lists I am on stagnate and/or die over the summer as
all the college and high school age gamers turn to summer activities
instead of gathering to play D&D.

About the only place I see much activity these days is the WotC message
boards, some of which are very active. Otherwise, expect it to remain
slow for the summer.

If you are looking for players in your area you could try posting at the
RPG Gamer Classifieds board found here:
http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=347 Make sure to read the
FAQ and follow those guidelines for posting. I was surprised but I found
several different groups in my area looking for players, I thought the
group I had been part of was the only one in the area. :P
