Hi folks,

I have changed the Outsider Chronicles group over to a new name to reflect its
new focus. The Outsider Chronicles isn't dead as a project. It will become a
Dream Palace game.

Dream Palace is a tabletop roleplaying game that will simulate the drama of the
movies. Unlike other cinematic RPGs, which follow the traditional wargaming
model with some dramatic elements sprinkled on top, Dream Palace will be built
with drama in mind from the ground up.

The idea for Dream Palace was first inspired by a pair of books I've read by Syd
Field on screenwriting. He had managed to apply a number of systems in the
creation of good movie scripts, and I wondered if these systems could be applied
to create enjoyable and dramatic RPG adventures. The idea has grown and evolved
into a new system. I'm currently working on Dream Palace 0.1 and I hope with
your help it will lead to a satisfying game.
