This discussion group/e-mail List is for and about the historical adventure-RPG, "DARKLANDS"(TM), by Microprose(R), on PC OS's that can support a DOS environment.
Darklands (DL) is a game set in 15th Century Medieval Germany. Lead a band of (4) adventurers to face the Middle Ages as the people of those times believed their world to be -- with all of the magical atmosphere and mythical beasts of old European tradition... Travel hundreds of miles by land and sea, visiting over 90 German cities and countless sites along the way... Vanquish Evil from the far reaches of the Holy Roman Empire, gaining fame and virtue as your ultimate reward!
The DL group was founded for fans of the game to discuss subjects such as: its technical aspects; reporting bugs; best tips, tricks, and play techniques; gaming news; configuration help and tips for running on new PC hardware and operating systems; and much more... It's like a living supplement to the Darklands FAQ, on the Darklands Domain. Darklands is more than a fortnight-worth o'years old now, but the best adventures are still yet to come...
