Currently all that I am running is a small Star Wars group that I
have just kicked off. I am undecided on how I feel about the Star
Wars game though. My group is okay, but Wizards is about to stick me
for another $40 for a "revised" edition. It sounds more like a
complete overhaul.

I grant that the current version is lacking in a lot of areas. If the
revised edition is a marked improvement, it will be worth the cash.

Oriental adventure realy impressed me. The Legend of the five rings
books that followed it though were even better. I have always wanted
to run an asian type game, but have had trouble finding players.

Dragonstar looks promising...but is taking forever to arrive. I paid
for all three books late lst year, and so far only the first book has
come out.

I enjoyed Wheel of time. It was a solid book. Of particular intrest
is the magic system for casting weaves. I feel that it did a good job
of capturing the feel of the books, while being similar to D&D
mechanics.

I am a big fan of Deadlands...but have not picked up the d20
version. Has anyone?

I read on the wizards home page that Marget Wies and her husband have
bought the rights to do a Dragonlance d20 book. That should be good!

... i'll say this about WotC: if they do half as good of a job on D&D revisions as they did on the Star Wars book, they've got my money. ... The OA book is...
