i'd modify the rogue. give them all knowledge
skills as class skills. special abilities? bonus to
listen and spot checks as levels go up. maybe an ability
called "leap of logic" that gives them some insight to
their current situation, again they can use it more
often and it gets better as levels go up. special bonus
to hit with weapons that require tehnical knowledge,
hand guns or crossbows, etc. "reverse engineer",
ability to figur out how something works and duplicate
it. depends on how much tech there is in the
game.<br><br>does anybody know of some good steam punk resources
for D20? i run a d&d 3E game, and i want to add some
