Kysie Scrolls

A great battle was fought just south of the town of Southern Cross between the Royal Army and A mercenary army hired by Count Rafa.  Information from the Royal Army is that a successful assassination attempt on Prince/General Harkem happened before the battle.  Count Rafa is implicated in the assassination.  Intelligence reports say that an order form Count Rafa was found in his main army base by spies from the Royal Army.  Count Rafa has denied that he ordered an assassination attempt.  Sources also say that Prince/General Harkem was seen before the battle began shooting a massive Fireball spell into Count Rafa’s army decimating a portion of ranged fighters.  Army clerics say that he was not raised from death yet and no attempt has been made to.

Jessica Tarn, daughter of Robert Tarn, master merchant, who was believed to be lost when ogres from Ogredom raided the caravan, she was traveling with, turned up two weeks later in Kazack.  She was accompanied by most of the other caravan personnel.  Sadly a few lives were lost in the ordeal.  The story from Jessica is that for four days they were marched through the hellish landscape of Ogredom by their captors.  Each day another person was taken at sun down to be eaten by the band of ogres.  If not for the help of a renegade goblin scout and the valorous efforts of a small group of adventurers she is sure they all would have lost their lives.

Giant chickens have been spotted by hunters from Fomestria.  The hunters spotted the chickens not far into Ogredom.  They returned with news without further investigation.  Slim Plickens, famed hunter, was quoted as saying “Ima gonna git me one a dem chickens”.  He has not been seen or heard from since.
