I played one about 7 years ago. I was Germany. I was doing well. But,
I made a big mistake and used the Italoian HQ (only) for Southern
Russia in the first year. However, I soon learned that it only has a
supply level of 5, not 10 - ouch! I was not able to hurt Russia bad
enough. I still held out for victory, but just by surviving.
Anyway, to play by PBEM:
1. A whole lot of trust is involved.
2. Basically, you save the game when you are finished with your
moves, but before you hit "End Turn."
3. You have to specify your builds ahead of time in case builds occur
during the other players turn.
4. You also need to indicate actions in Naval Combat (Join, fight,
Flee)
