JT,
The red borders will change based on the alliance of neighboring
countries. The alliance is changed in the 4th field of the NATIONS
data. Alliances are:
enum alliance_t {AXIS, ALLIED, NEUTRAL, AXIS_ALLY, ALLIED_ALLY,
CONQUERED, MAX_ALLIANCE};
The game month,impulse and year are changed under the GDATA header.
enum date_t {JANFEB, MARAPR,MAYJUN,JULAUG,SEPOCT,NOVDEC, MAX_DATE};
enum year_t
{Y1939,Y1940,Y1941,Y1942,Y1943,Y1944,Y1945,Y1946,MAX_YEAR};
FYI - please use the clashofsteel yahoo group so everyone interested
can benefit from the information and your work.
Thanks
Blair

Hi JT,
Thanks for trying it and the positive comments. I never bothered
creating
the other scenarios. I guess because I only ever played the Poland one
(many times though!) Anyway, if you wanted to create any of them I
could
post them for you. You would need to copy the Poland.sce file and
edit the
section "UNITS" section and change the x/y coordinates of each unit.
If a
unit is dead, change it to "GONE" which I think is a location of 10.
Maybe
some changes to the Nations if any country has a different alliance.
I can
help you through it if you want to give it a shot.
Thanks again!
Blair

I have just discoverd you Window editon of COS. I have been waiting
for one for years, Thank you!! I was wondering if you had the other
scenerio files? The only one in the download was Poland. I love
playing from the Fall of France and espically Operation Barbarosa. The
D-day crunch is fun when you play the allies.
Many thanks
