Description

Clash of Steel - One of the best grand strategy WWII European theater games ever made. Currently free (owning company is defunct), Clash of Steel is a grand strategy computer game released in 1993 by Strategic Simulations Inc. (SSI) for IBM PC.

It covers the World War II in Europe on a grand strategic scale between 1939 and 1945. Three major powers are playable: Germany (Axis), the Allies and the Soviet Union. In the game you are in charge of your chosen major power and its land, air and naval forces. You also control production and research of military equipment.

I run it on Windows XP. Use the "properties" tab and set the .exe to "run as" Win98 DD

I haven't had any luck yet either, I have an older pc that I run it on but no luck at all in running it on anything newer than win98. Sorry it took me so long
