Re: Using Pendraken Trolls As 15mm Cavemen?

Thanks!

The first time I saw the Pendraken photo I thought "cavemen". But, the
more I looked at it, the more they screamed "Morlock" or some other
ape-like primitives useful for Lost World settings.

From foot to top of head they are about 15-16mm in height. However,
when you add the height of their integral base, they end up being 18mm
or so.

I think they have lots and lots of potential. I still think they would
make very interesting cavemen, apemen, etc.

Dan

Morlocks, eh? Those creatures have figured in my dreams since I was a
teenager and went to see that 1960 classic film (and best version!) of
"The Time Machine", with Rod Taylor as the Victorian time traveller, and
the gorgeous Yvette Mimieux as "Weena".

labeled as FT3, but it is really part of the FT1 pack:

His "loincloth" is sculpted as if it was made of mail instead of fabric.
He also wears a fur vest of sorts, with some metal circles sown onto the
surface
> All in all, there are 6 poses. The figures are a bit taller than the
Rebel Minis figures I had with me in the room, but that may be due to
the thickness of their integral bases. They are very ape-like in
physique, with short legs, long arms, broad backs and shoulders,
forward-placed heads.

ape-human hybrid, or a de-evolved human, and I think I found the perfect
figures. My only wish is that they had more poses available.
