The rules have versions for ACW, Napoleonics, SYW,Wars of von Moltke and ++NEW++ War in the age of Marlborough and GNW.
This group allows discussion of the rules and enables players to share army lists and orders of battle.

OK, So long as there is no additional negative I would say use indirect fire as a mortar would likely be an all or nothing shot, but as you say it is up to the
