Hi Logan,
I like your maps very much. I hope you like that they are up here. Although most of the maps look like they are made with the RMG, not all are. And some of the RMG maps have been touched by hand making them unique and unusual. Looking and some of Grigors maps, I have to wonder if this is'nt true. However, these maps are from all over the world and some you just can't find anymore.
Myself, I never publish a map made by the RMG. All my own maps are made by hand.
Hope you enjoy the site{s}.

maps worth nothing, because you can make such a map in 5 minutes by
simply launching the RMG:)

I suppose (well I'm not bb) that they are at least redesigned a bit to be "joy to play", if you will found some which is not tell me, I will look on it and sort it out eventually.

Oh, you may be proud on yourself - your maps are here, you made it ;))

We talked about it and now it's a reality. Campaign II is now
official. You can get to it by going to the Links page and finding the
link for it there. You'll find SoD campaigns, if you play with WoG, as
well as some new campaigns that should have been campaigns and came as
single maps (Example: Legacy of Qun Jin}, along with regular
campaigns. A few more of these single released map campaigns will be
made as time goes on. We expect new campaigns in the not so distant
future, so it seemed like the thing to do-make another campaign
archive. Enjoy!

Hello everybody. Just thought I would let you know that if you want
some new portraits, I've uploaded a bunch over on Map Archive VI. I've
separated them into groups. One for each town type and the hero
classes that dwell in those towns. Some are very original and true to
the fantasy theme. I tried matching the story and the special
abilities to the pcx. Some pre-made pcx's I liked, but others were
just plain bad. I never thought I would find a better Sandro than what
H3 came up with, but I think I did, for example. And the Stronghold
pcx's are very good in my mind. Take a look at them, sort through what
you want. Re-name them if you like. Or, just forget I even posted
this. :-)

I moved some maps from Archive I to Archive II. The files that Pol
added took up too much room I thought. And since we had more than
enough room in Archive II, I thought the move was needed. Archive I is
now 96% full as opposed to 99%. And Archive II is now 95% instead of
just 92%. Looks like the people in MAII made out! ;-)

Could you please organize the map files better? I understand you
are limited by webspace here, but some folders would be nice. Simply
adding maps by alphabet makes it hard to search for the ones
you need. You could sort them by language, size or even type (if possible)

Hi Vlaad,

here is plan for general index of all files in all archives, so,
please be a patient. This thing is in queque after all maps will be
uploaded. Possible columns will be: map name/map size/
allies-human-computer/map type/language-another
language/description/url address or archive #. It will be table
possibly in RTF, therefore you may sort these entries or search in
them as you want and you can do it M. Office, OO.org or in nifty
abiword(Not sure if can sort tables).

If you have some another idea freely send them here.

I suppose folders would be nice. I will eventually have folders for ROE, AB, SOD and WoG. And Sub-folders for the size of maps.

Simply adding maps by alphabet makes it hard to search for the ones you need.

I don't follow you here on this one. Sorry. If I know the name of the map, I can find it.

You could sort them by language, size or even type (if possible).

That's where sub-folders would come in handy for the main folders

In addition, unfinished maps should not be uploaded, no matter how
promising they may be.

Please report any unfinished maps. I want to know which ones are unfinished. Because right now, all I'm doing is uploading what I have in my collection, and once they are up, then, I'll go through them and either delete them or correct them.
Steve
