The eastern continent comprises four Lands: The thriving Kingdom of Miranar (The East Frontier); the dangerous Borderlands of Mirathel (the Bold Frontier); the magical and treacherous Kurys (the Spirit Lands); and the dark and foreboding Shayanar (the Dark Lands).

Miranar and Mirathel border barbarian steppes, mountains, desert and blasted lands of Norcan Darr -- while Miranar is mostly a human kingdom, Mirathel is a melting pot of races living under the shadow of the dreaded east. Mysterious Kurys is home to strange beings found in no other lands. Dark elves have joined forces with even darker creatures in Shayanar, dominating the Lands of Shadow.

To the south and east, unrest stirs the humanoid tribes into action: The Ill Wind blows northward. In the frozen north, shadows are creeping southward, and with it comes the chill of the Reaper's Breath.

The Fierce Frontier is a High Fantasy Savage Worlds homebrew setting -- it uses the Savage Worlds Explorers Edition rules, with setting content drawn from homebrew, plus "Wizards & Warriors", "Shaintar", and a dash of "Sundered Skies"; plus elements drawn from GURPS Fantasy and D&D4e.
