Hi everyone, my name is Peter and I organize D&D Miniatures skirmish
games at Pandemonium every Wednesday night starting at 6:30. D&D Minis
is very similar to D&D 4.0 combat tactics, though simplified a bit.
Players and DMs have told me that they've learned some good combat
techniques that carry over into their D&D games. And there are a lot
of other games going Wednesday nights at Pandemonium, so even if D&D
Minis ends up not suiting your tastes, you might meet other gamers with
interests like yours. Pandemonium's website is
www.pandemoniumbooks.com, and they have a new forum where I've posted
some more info about D&D minis.
I also play D&D Minis at Battleground Games Tuesday nights in Abington,
MA (and have an almost full carpool going there at this point). These
are competitive tournament games, but everyone is fun and friendly to
play with, so I recommend this location as well. Their website is
www.battlegroundgames.com. I record my tournament reports at
www.hordelings.com, in the D&D Minis Tournaments section.
If you have any questions at all about how you might use your D&D Minis
collection to play Skirmish games, I'll be happy to answer them and you
can also find more info at www.wizards.com and their forums too.
