hi Anthony,
posting trades here is perfectly cool. :D unfortunately I don't
have any of the uniques you are looking for currently. (i may pick
up another booster here or there, maybe) I only need a vet Shaman,
exp Ultron, and a vet Executioner to finish my set.

My extras are sentry, crystal, shathra, and 2 magnetos.

And since i got quite a few uniques...i didnt get very many of the
vets from the end of teh set..so i may be willing to trade for those
too.

Anyway ive been making it to one game a weekend (usually) and think
ill be going to the 1000 pt game this weekend if anybody would like to
trade some.

I told Brian (one of the TJs envoys) I'd let people know about their
AW maquee. Below is the email. but you'll all be coming to Hobby
Bunker, right? :-P His message Below:

Looking to get your hands on free sealed boosters of Armor Wars? Now
you can. TJ Collectables in Milford Massachusetts has added
additional prize support to the Armor Wars marquee on January 7th at
11AM. Winner will get 3 boosters, second place, 2, and third will
get one. Not only is there more swag, but the event only costs $20
for the 3 sealed boosters for the event. On top of all that, you
still have your chance to win John Walker or James Rhodes and pick
up the exclusive bystander token, Tony Stark LMD.

Hope to see you all there.

Judges, If you don't have an event running this day, please let your
players know about this one. TJs is trying to make a statement about
events and prizes with this. Thanx guys.

hi All,
As most of you know now there will not be a pre-release for CD -
anywhere. :-( but Robb the Envoy at TJs still wants to hold a huge
event there still and trying to get a sense if players are
interested. Below is his original post on Wizkids:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------

I want a show of hands on this one...We want a big event one way or
another.

In my quest to keep the HC community alive and well I want to put
forth this idea to the envoys first and then we can move to the
players on it through you folks.

NE wants a large scale event...TJ Collectibles wants to give it to
you.

I could care less about the LE prizes, factory sets, qualifier
invites. I am all about not seeing the community die due to smaller,
trite and frankly less fun marquees.

We all know that we very rarely see more than 8 people at the
marquees. Those who do are either lucky or lying. I talk to area
venue owners alot I ask how they do in relation to what I actually
see. How many people in the area will actually qualify for an event?

I am going to poll the area venues and players regionally and gather
a huge interest in a central pre-marquee CD release celebration.
Store supported, with boosters as prizes to be held two weeks before
the Marquee weekend. I guarantee we will pull the same numbers as a
prerelease. We have all the purple rings from the AW prerelease that
I guess we were supposed to distribute over and over but since we
limited it to one per person.

If this is successful we plan on doing it for every subsequent
release. Since it is store supported, we will be charging a fee. But
it will be slightly lower than the standard prerelease fee. This
will cover the boosters and any prize support.

But we need a show of hands on who would actually attend such an
event. So I want you the New England envoys to poll your players,
get their interest. Call TJ's with your support and for the love of
Clix, get the wow factor up!!!

Just to remind you of when we had 76 players at the DC:Legacy event
and ran out of product. This will not be the case. If the interest
is there. Tom, the TO will order enough product that there WILL be
reflights. Let's get back to when these events were all about the
fun and not about who was going to go to WW.

We just did this with a D&D mini event and it drew 20 players,
without any fanfare, and 6 of those players travelled all the way
from Canada. We were a bit disappointed in that turnout, but since
it was the first try at it. We let it go, we are doing another one
on January 28th. (funny how dates work out like that).

===========================================================
you can let me know what you guys think. :-)

All of my events at Hobby Bunker, Magic Dragon, and events at
Arisia are now added to the Calendar. For YMG and Strat you'll have
to check with William or on Wizkids site. If possible sign up on
wizkids if you are coming to a game. Happy New Years to all! We get

hi all,
this is more of a note for our newer members of the group. For
maquees we always squeeze in three for one day -- Saturday! We begin
at Hobby Bunker in Malden at 11 am -- then proceed to Magic Dragon in
Arlington for a 3 pm Maquee -- followed up in Somerville at Your Move
Games for a 6/6:30pm ? for the final marquee. Great way to spend the
day, no? :)

Also for NGN - I'll set that up so that its similar to last time where
you bring 200 pt armies.

hey gang. Planning my February events. I will be running all four
events at Hobby Bunker -- and we'll be running all the HC events at
Boskone as well. My question is this -- what two events would you
like me to repeat at Magic Dragon? I'll only be running two Friday
nites there. Let me know which figures you will be looking for.

I will be posting January Events possibly tomorrow in the calendar
here.

It's kinda funny that so many people all over the United States play
HeroClix on a regular basis, but to actually find large groups in a
certain area is almost non-existent. It's like a secret religion slowly
spreading across the USA...and there is not enough branches where I
live! haha Man, it's tough to keep in battle ready shape when your
closest human opponent is over 50 miles away! I'm going home to play
some clixs tonight, but only to practice for the actual slightly
hopeful chance that maybe someday soon I will fight again with someone
of equal gaming caliber and that lives within relative close distance.
One can only wait and hope! :-) On the border of Maine/New Hampshire,
there lies not one,but two! GL Corps mini stations...haha Chat with
you all on the flip side! NO SNAKE EYES!

I love the game, i just don't play it enough (maybe if i am lucky, i
get to play it once a week if i find someone willing to sit down and
play the game with me) So, does anyone here want to play sometime soon?
maybe not a weekly set time or anything, but just a game or two in the
near future?? contact me. EMAIL or call me..my number is 603-203-5101

Hi there everyone! I am new to the group here, but have been playing HC
since the start. I usually play tournaments in Portsmouth,NH but would
be willing to travel down to BeanTown for some clix action! I also host
games in my neighborhood, so anyone who happens to be in the seacoast
area can look me up for some good battles. I own about 80 percent of
what's been put out so far for the game, and I have access to a wealth
of older clixs not available for sale anymore. Give a shout out
sometime, and chat with you all later!

it does state that they need to share the same team ability so NO it
wouldn't work for unaffiliated teams.

Bystands that don't have a team will work on an unaffiliated team.
Alfred would not unless you were running a Batman Family team.
