This Yahoo Group is for players of the game Battlestations by Gorilla Games.
This innovative offering from Gorilla Games debuted at Origins 2004. Part RPG, part board game; Battlestations is a mission based spaceship combat game. The twist? Instead of players operating their own ship, each player acts as a crewman on a single ship. The game master plays the antagonists and tries to thwart the player’s hopes of completing their mission.
Whether you are a pilot, science officer, engineer, or marine you have specific skills and abilities that make you an integral part of the team. The ship’s crew must work cooperatively to complete their mission and defeat their enemies. An extensive experience system allows characters to progress and grow, gaining better skills and equipment as they advance through the ranks of the Universal Republic Expeditionary Force (UREF).
It should be noted that this group is a fan group for players of this great game. This is not an officially sanctioned group by the owners and staff of Gorilla Games.

I can highly recommend the play-by-forum game, especially if you haven't played before or have trouble getting a game together. You have time to look up
