The problem with a Su40 Barbarossa is too few Axis units. You need to leave double stacks of 3x3s in the west, and this leaves few units for use in the east....
A Fall or Winter 1941 US entry seems very early, especially with the Western Allies attacking minors. My projections would have the US coming in about a year...
