earring and the front has the narrow diamond head, so it could look as though
it's been shot through the earlobe when worn. (altered rangerly earring)

Etched in the blue crystal of the amulet is a finely detailed image of a great
panther curled protectively around a sleeping child.
Written upon it are the words, "Little one, fear not the darkness.  The lord of
shadows protect thee."

With tightly sealed seams to protect the creamy parchment's inner message, the
waterproofed leather casing bears a burnished image of the Paladin Guild
crest.  A flowing script graces the fibrous material, written in a silver ink
