Yeah, a quick and dirty way to implement scale would be to give the bigger thing
+7 to attack, defence, etc. And maybe it automatically beats unimportant
characters.
You might also want to say the smaller thing can only inflict Failure Ranks. If
the smaller thing can do something to get itself on the same scale that'll even
the odds - a dragon-slaying sword?
