I'm posting this to the Armymen Crew group too, so apologies to those
who are members of both groups.

I'm wondering if any here play pbem games with their figures? And if
so, how?

Games played on grids, whether of squares or hexes, seem reasonably
straightforward. Each location can be numbered in some way, and moves
made by descriptions in an email. Such as:

Knight on A3 moves A4-B4-C4 and attacks D4.

Rolling dice could be a problem, but there are websites which deal
with such.

Or there is Vassal, which would take care of both the moves and the
die throws.

But does anyone do this? I'm not referring to board games with
counters, of the sort for which Vassal was designed. I mean games more
on the order of, for instance, Table Top Troopers and similar 'toy' games.

And what about games where movement is made by measurements in inches
or centimetres, such as Knightly Fightly. Are those played by email,
and if they are, how is it done?
