also, after you apply your repair tape, run a hairdryer over the
repair to warm up the adhesive, press the tape firmly in to the kite.
This allows the adhesive to bleed in to the kite's ripstop and makes
for a stronger, longer lasting repair. I recommend rounding off the
corners of the repair tape which helps reduce the chance of them
catching on stuff, lifting and allowing sand to get in between the
tape and sail.
