I have been mainly flying a phantom 15 for the last 8 months so
this is what im comparing it to


V13

Wind blowing 14-mph gradually picking up through the day to about
25/28 then ½ hour at 35 mph

Set the kite up and set the internal strap(flight adjuster) fully
tight. found the new inflation zippers didn't fill as quick, the zip
isnt as long but it filled up ok and filled more than with the centre
zip
Never had too many problems with launching but put the lines in the
launch assistant and found you don't have to rush to the bar, theres
no chance of lines wrapping so that's a plus
Launched the kite and found that with the lines in the launch
assistant that it dragged the tip over down wind a bit but launched
ok
It flew straight to the side so must have been a lot fuller than when
I launch my p15- it usually sits there and you can see the top of the
kite fill up
I think the front pigtails may be a bit short because on full de-
power the rear lines are very slack so I will be loosing a bit of
power when fully powered
In flight its as fast as the p15 but turns a lot tighter and seems to
hold its power in the turns
Its got a lot of grunt and I found myself bouncing on the water abit
butim sure I will get used to this
Bar pressure is nice- less than the p15 and I think this decieves you
into thinking you are a bit underpowered which I was thinking but
realised I was way upwind

For jumps I used to send the p15 back fast from quite low but cant
do this on the v as it just pulles you off your edge – you've got to
drift it up a bit then send it, I struggled a bit with my timing
redirecting that will take a few more sessions I think. Height about
the same, float a lot more

Later in the day the wind picked up a lot for about ½ an hour so I
was just crusing slow to hold the power with a few small jumps-
didn't dare send it hard
Ther was only 2 of us left on the water it had picked up that much
and I later found when I came outit had picked up to 35mph but it
never felt that high
You don't feel as powered as you are on these kites
Powerwise I don't think its quite as powerful as the p15 but its a
lot more grunty, may be missing a couple of mph bottom end but its
very close, a few more sesssions may change this veiw though

V19

Wind 12mph gradually picking up to about 20mph with small gusts

Strap fully tight again

I would say everything the same about the v19 but has even more float

I tried it on my 50cm bar but would have been better on the 60cm when
redirecting, if your just crusing though the 50cm turns ok

Yep I think peter lynn have cracked the low end on my p18 I used to
need 13/14mph on my 142 flx to stay up wind and it was hard work,
this was easy
Again very grunty- even more so than the 13 but this is comparing to
the p15

Pigtails may stand being 50mm longer, I will have to experiment a bit

These are two cracking kites, ive been thinking what could they do
now to improve them and I honestly cant think of anything, they have
got enough power and turn plenty fast enough, the only thing I can
think of is give us more depower so we only need one kite.

Anyone flown the 10 yet? How does it compare with the g10 for wind
range? Think that may be next on the shopping list
