With little to no Player Activity, and even less Game feedback, I've
chosen to continue the Game(w/ JNR's blessing), and will be taking
the current Campaign to the Tabletop w/ some Players from the
neighborhood. The 'Marvel 808' Game world has been around for nearly
2 decades, and is intended to remain an active Campaign Setting. As
such, all the material presented therein is part of ongoing Plot
Threads(years in the making), as are the Characters presented w/in
(incl. the PCs). Feel secure in knowing that your Characters will not
be forgotten or abandoned, as when running this Game Setting they
will be referred to in all appropriate context(and may even get an
appearance or two, here & there).
IF(hopefully, When) JNR returns to pick up the Story, the Campaign
will be waiting for him, and any of you who may find the time to
rejoin us are certainly welcome back. With that said, and with the
need to shift away from the current batch of PCs, I present to you
the breakdown for the closing of the On-Line AoA/Runaways Campaign
that will become the canon of the 'Marvel '808' Reality'...

Previous Game Status...

In Chicago, Lonewolf(run by `shadowwolf') arrives in the wee hours of
daybreak searching for a missing FBI agent(Peters), at the hotel
where he was last seen-clues found there lead Lonewolf to a strip
club address, just as he finds out someone else is looking for the
missing agent, as well...

Later that day, Andrew(aka Iceblade; run by 'treeboy') finds himself
at the strip club(looking for clues to the disappearance of the FBI
agent-a college friend); the strip club is closed & empty - but he
realizes that it is connected to an active 'Rave Club'...

At that moment, Tyson(run by 'scavenger') having lost track of an
interested female, finds himself following a group of people heading
out of the 'Rave Club' - he exits the 'Club just in time to see them
speed off in a Honda Passport SUV, intent on following them in his
own SUV, a Navigator...

David(run by 'shadowwolf') has hooked up w/ a young lady who may get
him in w/ the superhuman group, calling themselves "the Brotherhood" -
he is currently in a speeding SUV w/ her and another muscle-bound
guy; they are heading to a mall to meet up w/ a "brother"(and some
others) they say, "need their house.", and intend to pick them up
from the mall...

Meanwhile, in another place/time, Damien Cortez(run by '
tallachienan') has left the lofty heights of Heaven, and descended
the Spiritual Spires to a metal doorway, deep inside an earthen
corridor...

NOTES:
> Trip(originally from 'Marvel 116'; run by 'jim') was never
introduced for the '808' Campaign Setting, so he was not included,
here...
> It is possible that Lonewolf & "David" were originally the same
Character…for the purposes of the `Resolution', hey will now be two
different persons…

[Please excuse me if any of the above seems out of direct context
with what you may remember, or is missing very specific data]; as I
mentioned several times, I was missing info on many of the
Characters, that no one presented details on, so I had to go with
what was Posted-and build from there. The following will be the
official 'Partial Resolution/Hiatus' that will close the current Game
Session(s) for this 'Group...

Lonewolf & Andrew discover they are hunting for the same FBI agent
(Peters)-though for different reasons; their search of the 'Club does
uncover that Agent Peters did in fact come here the night he
disappeared, and by combining their clues they realize that he was
investigating the "Brotherhood"-who happen to have a habit of hanging
out at the Rave Club as their center of operations. Andrew manages to
pick up Tyson's focused thoughts, out back...
Tyson begins to head for his Navigator to follow the Honda-but, just
as he walks towards it, it explodes, throwing him back against the
outside wall of the 'Club-he passes out.
Lonewolf & Andrew(along w/ a large crowd from the 'Club) come out
back to find the vehicle in flames...but Tyson is missing.
In the Honda SUV, headed to the Mall, David begins to wonder who it
is they are going to meet, as they pull into the parking garage for
the Mall where their "brother" in supposed to be. They park and exit
the vehicle, telling David to stay near the truck while they check on
their "brother".
Damien Cortez enters the metal door, w/ Tobin, only to find himself
in a massive parking garage. As he turns the corner, Damien finds
himself locked eye to eye with an oddly handsome man, dressed in a
fancy black suit(w/ matching shirt & tie). Tobin suddenly seems happy
to see the man, but Damien gets troublesome spiritual vibes from him.
And as Tobin runs over to hug the man, Damien realizes why...this man
is a fallen angel. The man thanks Damien for bringing Tobin back, but
explains that Damien's job is not done. He says that Tobin will be in
danger in approx. 5 minutes, and that Damien will need to be by her
side to keep her alive, so that she can fullfil her purpose. The man
then walks away, fading into nothingness...
Just then, a huge explosion is heard; David heads to where he heard
the blast, and finds that the two Brotherhood members he came with
(along w/ a young black man w/ braids, and a young Asian girl) are in
battle with a group of young superhumans(some in costumes). The black
man, and Asian girl are blown to pieces by a glowing young black man,
who's clothes are burning off him to reveals some sort of exosuit,
underneath. The young lady, and the muscle-bound guy that David came
with are surrounded...
[next actions are negligible, but here is the 'final fallout']
David, whether he gets involved or not, finds himself fighting to
survive in what becomes a blazing conflagration that flows throughout
the parking garage, endangering all w/in. Damien fights to protect
Tobin, as they are also caught up in the blaze & the battle between
the superhumans. Damien saves Tobin, and inadvertently, saves David
as well. David goes on his way as the XSE show up to contain the
threat. Damien & Tobin make their unnoticed exit as well.
In the aftermath, the Brotherhood are exposed as threats to national
security(the group they battled at the Mall turn out to be
international superhuman sensation, the NEO Guardians); The clues
uncovered by Andrew & Lonewolf, working together, lead them to find
Damien & Tobin. Tobin explains that she knows who killed Agent
Peters, and even where they dumped his body. Thanks to Damien's
protection, Tobin testifies that it was the very same young
superhumans from the Brotherhood that murdered the FBI Agent when he
uncovered the details to their groups' agenda to infiltrate the
political structure and create a superhuman army, for nefarious
purposes.
Lonewolf & Andrew success garners them offers of positions w/ the
XSE's investigation team, while Damien finds himself given a second
chance at life as a normal human-w/ the hint that Heaven may call him
again. David, considers himself lucky he didn't end up incarcerated,
or dead, from his association w/ the Brotherhood, and begins to
rethink his choices in life-perhaps he'll make better ones in the
future.
As for Tyson...he awakes to find himself on what appears to be an
operating table, in a darkened room he can tell is some sort of lab.
He finds he can get up and move easily-but as soon as he sits up he
comes face to face with a tall dark-haired man wearing what appears
to be something like a steelworker's overalls-but clearly of high
tech design. The man explains that he is, the War God and that he
needs information that Tyson has. He mentions something about the
Brotherhood being dealt with, but there still being unanswered
questions that he believes Tyson's mind may hold the answers too;
Tyson considers outright resisting, but then realizes his powers
aren't working...scene fades to black...
