IFGS, Dragoncrest, as well as others as they are brought to our
attention. We will be comparing fighting systems, garb and A&S,
magic, rules, playability, and other differences.
This is fairly indepth and frankly more then Forest and I could do
without outside assistance. We need a group of 4 volunteers to go
with us to the various game systems and help assess the system they
play by and come on the air on the dates of the shows pertaining to
that system. I would like to keep the same group for the duration.
There may be some costs involved in this that will not be covered by
Redhawk Radio, but we are contacting the members of the various
orginizations and attempting to get reduced or even waived during our
visits.
Time frame is variable and will consist of at least one practice
session visit and one weekend event for each group. I can promise
that these visits will not confict with Amtgard events.
Please contact me if you are interested.

Guildmasters withheld... In reviewing my tallies I noticed one of the chancellors allowed everyone to vote in all of the guildmaster races and it's pretty obvious that those not familiar with playing the class voted for the only names they recognized instead of making an informed decision. I'm going to talk with that PM and see if we can weed out the invalid votes and recalcualte. This may take a few days... hopefully I can announce before the event starts, but I'm not making any promises.

--Pandora de'mallion, Baronet Magick Consul to EH Clan Morgorach
There will be a battle on Friday night of coronation. This battle is
between Tatter and Osgiliath, but anyone interested in joining in is
welcome to, I'm sure. I'll be posting a Roleplay post soon, but first
here are the mechanics:
The rules are thus:
Pick a side, your options are the evil, bloated, carrion-eating
Tatter de'mallion, Vulture King *or* the Arrogant, militant pointy-
eared Osgiliath Vesper.
If you choose Tatter, make sure to wear a GREEN arm-band. If you
choose Os, make sure to wear a BLUE armband. If you choose neither,
and think this is lame, then don't wear an armband and find something
better to do. No armband, your kills don't count though.
Os and Tatter are both required to stay at a reasonable distance from
roads, campsites, etc. NO HIDING 30 ACRES AWAY IN THE WOODS. THAT IS
BOTH IRRITATING AND DANGEROUS. You must be able to be found from the
road using a decent flashlight.
The Bardic circle is a NO FIGHTING ZONE, don't attack anyone there.
It starts at nine PM on Friday, and ends at Sunrise on Saturday
morning, *or* whenever proof is provided that Os or Tatter (or both)
are dead. If you kill one or the other of them, yell real loud.
We have some surprises planned, and it should at least be a good
opportunity to beat one another sensless in the dark.
If I missed anything, feel free to yell at me at Coronation.
Zendra and House Griffonsong would like to announce the following workshops, they are open to all...just email Lady Zendra for any specific details on directions, supply lists, etc.

This is a variant of a Circle of Steel Tournament. This kind of
tourney
requires that companies who enter produce various forms of Cultural
(here after referred as A&S) Entries as well as some form of fighting
events that are determined by the event Autocrat.
…………………………………………
THE ARTS & SCIENCES PORTION
Each entry into the A&S competition will bring the company one
point. Each time a company places in the third, second or first
places they will be given once, two and three points respectively.
Best of show (the best from the first place entries in all A&S
categories) will be awarded an additional point. The Arts and
Sciences categories are as follows:
• Dragon 2D Art
• Dragon 3D Art
• Dragon Bardic
• Dragon Cooking
• Smith
• Owl
THE WARSKILL PORTION
The warskill events for this Serpent Tourney are that of a unique
design and nature. It is to encourage teamwork as well as knowledge
of the skills of a grand melee combat. For each event entered in the
warskill portion of the tournament, the team will receive one point.
For every third, second, and first place that a team gets, there
will be an additional one, two, and three points awarded
respectively. Only two people from each team are allowed to enter a
single category and allowed to enter only two categories as well
fight in the Full Class Battlegame. The Warskill events include the
following single elimination tournaments:
• Single Short Sword
• Florentine Short Sword
• Short Sword & Shield
• Great Weapon
• Open Freestyle
• One Full Class Battlegame (This is a 5 person team and the
alternates are allowed to be part of the 5 man team)
GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION
Teams must consist of five members and two alternates (the two
alternates are only allowed to help with the A&S portion of the
competition). Each member of the team (including alternates) must
wear the same “style” of garb, meaning that is does not have to
be identical but it has to be under the same color scheme.
** Please note that teams who choose not to wear garb will have points
removed from their overall score. **
Each team is required to enter into the Arts & Sciences portion of
the tournaments. A minimum of 1 entry per category with a maximum of
three, is required. Failure to do so will result in an over all
lower score.
The team with the most points wins the tournament.
