Dang! Yahoo's gotten cheap - they only allow 40 characters for a title so now it reads as though this is the Amateur Happy Hour Scrabble Club for Bad. We are not for Bad! Regardless of Yahoo's miserliness in title characters, this is the site for the Amateur Happy Hour Scrabble Club for Bad Spellers (AHHSCFBS for short). Next meet: 7:00 PM, Monday, April 3rd, 11th Street Bar, 510 E. 11th Street (between Aves A and B). Generally dates and times are announced via email to members, so sign up or send an email to your hostesses - Quinn, counsel to beleaguered indie artists everywhere, and rockstar Patty G. We're going to make up rules as we go along. Current rules:1. Challenges are allowed and if a challenged word shows up in any reference book on the premises, it is allowed. That means if somebody has a dictionary and a proper name appears in it, then the challenge fails. 2. If you can spell your own name, that's fair game. 3. You don't have to be good.
