pick pockets problem   Message List

Hello all,

I have a little problem. My character dropped a valuable item *cough*
Elemental Orb *cough* in Dwarftown. One of the guards found
and "confiscated" it. Well, for obvious reasons, I want it back. But
since I am a Neutral character (N-) killing him is not an option.
It's hard enough to keep balanced between N+ and N- ! So I decided to
pick pocket him, but unfortunately I only stole a girdle. Everytime I
try it again, I get the message "You already have cleaned out the
dwarven guardian" - but I am 100% sure he has it !

Any suggestions what I can do now ? And why can't I pick his pockets
again and again until I have my treasury back ?

Tx for any replies,

Frank

If you ahve a missile weapon, you may kill him without the alignment drop, by aiming at the space behind him. Then you will "accidentaly" hit him and he will...
