This is a list for organising and contacting the Go (Baduk, Weiqi) Club based in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Go is (arguably) the longest established board game in the world, and also one of the most popular. Though it is not well known in the West, in much of the Orient it has a popularity which exceeds that of chess in the West. Possibly it even exceeds the popularity of chess in Russia.
Part of the purpose of the club is to correct this deficit of Western society by introducing many people here in the sub-tropical realms to the game. But the main purpose of the club is to enjoy playing the game. These two aims are complementary, of course.
The club meets weekly on Friday evenings (18:15 to about 22:30) at the Kilau coffee shop on Little Belmont Street, central Aberdeen.
