The Empire had a fine odour with the start of the new Nurgle team. Pungent,
possessing just that flavour de peuw. Nurgle77 went up against Jacksonborg
Jags. Humans approached the field with noses clipped and rubber gloves. Nurgle
received but had a hard time breaking thru the Jag lines, only luckily
recovering a fumble to score just at half. The long-passing humans scored a
quick one, then somehow managed two consecutive blitzes, which they converted as
well. 3-1 0-0 cas 24k.

Blitz was the story of Dracs and Dames vs the ever-unlucky Grimmenhagen Ghosts.
Vamps got kick off, strolled down field, and stalled, leaving a few worthless
thralls to get battered (and one very fortunate 5st Vamp to get pushed off into
a friendly crowd), scoring at half time. Lots of fouling, which went on all
game but to little effect, except getting two humans and one thrall sent off.
Second half started with the blitz, and after a hypnotic gaze and a pow blitz,
Nosferatu got under the kick off, caught it, got protected by thralls running by
the hypnotised guy, and on turn 1 went for a score. Humans came back, but the
ball got dislodged, bounced around in a chaotic maul for a couple turns, and by
the time the humans scored, it was too late. Vamps got the kick off, held the
ball and ran out time. 2-1 3-2 cas in favour of vamps. 28k.

Humans vs elf as the Midnight Suns laid waste to the Elf Destruct Mechanisms.
Apparantly the sneaky humans substituted a soap-ball for the leather, and the
elves couldn't pick it up in three turns, laying themselves open for some ugly
hitting, as they stood around in a state of shocked disbelief. 5-1 cas count in
favour of the Suns, who won 2-1. 21k.

The seemingly invincible Auckland Worriers took on the Atexs lizards in what
promised to be a slubfest. At half time, score was 1-0 Worriers, and it seems
we will all have to worry about playing this team. Final result will follow at
some time.

In a previous game, Dean's Dark Elves played Elf Destruct Mechanism to a 1-1
draw in front of 23k. Cas were 2-1 in favour of the evil elves. An unusual elf
game in that both sides concentrated on defense.
