Miniatures for WarpWar?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #609 of 2008 |
It's getting warm out, and my local gaming buddy and I want to get in
our Warpwar fix while still enjoying the weather. But Alas! The Warpwar
map is ever so light, as are the playing pieces, and the wind will
disturb them too greatly. We could, of course, use a photocopied map
and write our moves on it directly. But that's not so much fun, is it?

We have it in mind to get a nice big Chessex vinyl hex mat, draw in the
Warpwar map, and play our next games outdoors using this.

Given that each hex is going to be an inch wide, can anyone recommend
starship miniatures suitable to represent our valiant warpships and
systemships?
