Welcome Melete and to all those who where interested in participating
in Promyvions this weekend send me a Tell in game "Cutter".
So i can organize it i have a SAM SMN allready i will go as either

Hello!  I'm Josk in the game, I usually use Joskouva for rpgs but I
shortened it for FFXI to make tells easier.  I'm not quite really
a "high level" yet but I've been working my way slowly up there.
Redm was my first and favorite job, and I have a hope of hitting 75
with it somewhere down the road.

School has been keeping me pretty busy since August so for the last
few months it's just been 10 minutes to check my plants every night,
but hopefully over the winter break I can get some leveling in.
That's one thing I liked when I was reading about this setup, that I
can keep up with what's going on in the group even if I can't get
onto the game every day.

While I haven't done too bad getting up to 50, I'm always on the
lookout for ways to improve how I do my job, and it's good to know
there's some old pros out there whose experience I can learn from.

other than that, I look forward to seeing yall around, here's some
info, etc. on my chars.

I'd like to thank everyone who came tonight to help Cutter get his Oztroja Coffer Key!  He found the coffer and got his Warlock's Tabard within 15 minutes.  Congratulations on another RDM with his AF1 body gear.

As I'm coming to realize, the LS is more for events and the website can be used for our communications, mentoring, arranging events, etc.

I encourage everyone to start talking on here about what we're wanting from the group and how to help each other.

In addition to the group stated goals, I'd like to work on skilling
up my combat skills - especially some RDM can't skill up like staff
and scythe.  Staff is important as we use our staff in magic but
can't skill it up.  If we need to equip it and attack, we should
have it skilled up so it hits / means something.

As for the scythe, hey, it looks cools on my BLM!

Looking forward to farming, questing, skilling, etc., with you and
everyone else!

Well, the more I think about the level 60 limit, the more I dislike
it.  My original take was a group for all Red Mages.

I know a LS with all levels of Red Mages will be very busy.

I would like a chance for the high level Red Mages to organize ourselves into 6
RDM parties, work on beating Maat, farming, etc.

Yet, lower level RDM need mentoring, are looking for LS, are excited, etc.

Anyway, maybe this action will be a mistake, but I'm going to open up the LS to
all Red Mages on CaitSith.

IBHalliwell - I can't change the LS name, but someone already has
the WarlockEnclave name .. guess we'll figure out a new meaning for
HL.

We're looking forward to your taking an active role by getting out
there and helping to organize events.  What kind of stuff do we want
to do?  The stuff that help Red Mages come to mind and stuff we
don't normally get to do  -- in addition to the normal stuff!!

I got this idea while in a 6 RDM party.  It was a really hot party
and went along very well.  The sub jobs were /WHM, /BLM, /NIN,
and /SMN with everyone level 70 and above.  We ended up getting XP
and limit points, farmed scrolls, testimonies (2 RDM needed them),
rubies, clusters, crystals, etc.  Personally, I walked away with
close to 200K gil for the farming effort and about 1500 limit points.

This is our Red Mage group -- NOT MINE!  Please encourage other RDM
with level 60+ job (any job) to join.  If you know someone not quite
level 60 with their RDM, talk to me, I'm open to the exception
(between say 54 and 60).

This is a JOB LS not a social LS.  We're here because we have fun at

BLM have manaburn parties.  I'd like RDM to have our own parties and
on a regular basis!  We have RDM/NIN who can solo Avatars!  We have
