Re: GW Colours for WW 2 British

May be if we knew what part of the world you are in someone might know
of other shops near you?

I'm kinda lucky in that just a few streets away from me is a remote
control model shop that stocks tamiya and a few humbrol paints. Short
tube trip to Holborn and there is the Model Zone on High Holborn
(vallejo, tamiya, humbrol and revel enamels), the Orc'snest at
cambridge circus (MP paints) and GW shops in convent garden and plaza,
oxford street. All within easy walking distance, and plenty of places
to grab lunch nearby.

... Imho, GW's 'Snakebite Leather' is an excellent choice for British khaki kit, with just a hint of 'Bubonic Brown' drybrushing for highlights. In more...

For the British I would recommend a basecoat of The Foundation's Charadon Granite, then a uniform highlight of GW's Graveyard Earth. Webbing could be based in...

Kommando Khaki is closer to the sort of Khaki used in victorian uniforms -"Multani Mitti" Khaki (I think WW2 uniforms are technically Khaki-Drab?). It is a...

If GW paints don't float your boat look toward Humbrol or Polly S. Both have an extensive range of military colours. If you have the RLM or Military name for...
