May be if we knew what part of the world you are in someone might know
of other shops near you?
I'm kinda lucky in that just a few streets away from me is a remote
control model shop that stocks tamiya and a few humbrol paints. Short
tube trip to Holborn and there is the Model Zone on High Holborn
(vallejo, tamiya, humbrol and revel enamels), the Orc'snest at
cambridge circus (MP paints) and GW shops in convent garden and plaza,
oxford street. All within easy walking distance, and plenty of places
to grab lunch nearby.

Wow thats a first. Most people ,including me ,say the exact opposite.Gw dries up to fast.I have never had a vallejo bottle dry up on me,but my wastecans are...
What i can add for my two pennys worth and no i dont work with or for GW, is once finished for the night, add a little bit of water to the paint, then invert...
If GW paints don't float your boat look toward Humbrol or Polly S. Both have an extensive range of military colours. If you have the RLM or Military name for...

I find everyone's comments interesting. Up to a couple of years ago I used Humbrol enamels, which were really bad for drying up, particularly the black and...
Well I guess that its like Keith says, its personal preference.I use 85%vallejo and 15% GW and Tamiya with a few old foundry paints thrown in.The best part to...
Acrylic paints really do offer so many advantages over enamel, but I still use a few enamel paints, mainly for colours that are not found in acrylic ranges....
I'll preface this with the disclaimer that I do work for GW, but not in sales. I use mostly GW paints, with the occasional Vallejo for colors I don't want to...
just to clarify my point about working for GW, is the paint tip was given to me by one of the "Eavy Metal" team who i spoke to on an open day, so i wouldnt...
