People can ask for any amount they want on their auctions, but nobody
is forced to bid at such a ridiculous price.

The game you refer to could easily attract bids up to $15-$20.  I think in order
for it to sell in the $1200 range, the game pieces would have to be made of 10k
gold.  Maybe they are and the seller forgot to mention that...???

Gentlemen and Ladies:

I refer you to EBAY auction #170408021152 in order to ascertain if I have either
been hallucinating, lost my mind, I haven't learned a thing since I have been a
member of this group or I am missing something? This auction, which appears to
be a "not out of the ordinary" Monopoly set is going for $1,200. Can anyone spot
the reason for this extrordinary opening price? and does this seller know
something we don't know?
