Hey Dave,
Yes, we're still alive, although we haven't been an active play group
since this summer for the usual reasons (school, work, family).
I'm trying to get things active again. I started up
www.CharlotteByNight.com again and have started sending out feelers to
others who may be interested.
For a while it's been Justin, Jose and I meeting at Jose's house for
games. There a few others who have interest in playing again, but
time and distance have been a problem.
I'd like to host a tournament. The last tournament hosted here was
the one you attended in 2004. Since then four gaming stores in town
closed down. I looked into hosting another one two years ago, but the
owner of the one local gaming store left wasn't that willing to order
a prize kit and he had a generally bad attitude. That store has since
closed down because of karma.
So for a time there were no good gaming places to host a tournament.
But a new one just opened north of Charlotte that looks promising.
And getting together for weekend games either in Charlotte or Durham
would be great, I know Jose and I would make it.
