UP FRONT is a card game of man-to-man infantry combat set in WWII Europe. It was originally published in 1983 by the Avalon Hill Game Company (now owned by Hasbro), and is presently licensed by Multi-Man Publishing, who intend to relaunch it in the near future.
The basic game includes German, US, and Russian soldiers with their equipment. The two official expansions, Desert War and Banzai, add Japanese, British, French, and Italian forces. As well as the official scenarios - each with numerous offensive and defensive variations - included in the game, many others exist both on the web and in old (often discontinued) wargaming magazines. It is also possible to play the game presently using various PBW and PBEM systems.
