Oh, just don't worry, these events are NOT local events, they that take place in Southampton, England.

I think it's WRONG for a retail business chain like Borders to do an event like this that only cuts the throats of Brick and Mortar stores. I hope that everyone attends an M10 pre-release but I hope you do it at a gaming store that typically provides space for gamers.

Borders Books and Music over 8 years ago got rid of community managers whose purpose was to hold community events in the store. Borders went through a long process of eliminating not only these jobs, but community events from their stores. Pokemon, Gaming nights, book clubs, and kids reading hours were all removed from their stores.

Now that they are struggling they looking for anyway to make a profit, they are more that "happy" to invite these people back and their wallets.

Please Please Please support your local gaming stores, stores that would never pull gaming space away from gamers like Borders did.
