The Barony of U-topus is a local chapter of Amtgard in the city of Crockett, Texas. We consider ourselves to be a small and friendly group. We welcome anyone who is interested in coming to see what it is all about, and encourage everyone to participate, either learning and creating the arts and sciences of the medieval time period or fighting.

WHAT IS AMTGARD?
Amtgard is a live action medieval fantasy game, meaning that we create battle-type scenarios and quests that we actually act out or fight. All of the weapons are safe, padded and designed not to hurt. But there is more to Amtgard than fighting. Many people participate only in the Arts and Sciences part of Amtgard, which includes creating the artwork, clothing, food, and music of the time period. The arts and sciences helps to complete the atmosphere of being the medieval ages, such as you would get at a renaissance festival.
