A World War One miniatures game "Trench Storm!" was written by Ivan Sorensen.

Trench Storm! is a platoon based game in which each stand represents approximately a squad. Individual support weapons, vehicles, officers, snipers, off-board artillery, aircraft, smoke and poison gas are also represented.

4-6 stands equal a Platoon. Platoons are routinely re-inforced with support weapons and snipers. 3 or more Platoons represent a Company. Experienced players can easily handle command of a re-inforced Company sized force.

The rules cover the WWI period from the early open-field battles through the later trench-to-trench slug-fests. The conflict in Palestine is also represented. 10 scenarios are included in the rules.
