Welcome to this Web site, which is dedicated to all those who like us are hooked on Wentworth Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles. We are Paul & Lucy and we live in a small village in Rural Suffolk, England, which is a perfectly peaceful place to do Wentworth Puzzles!
We thought it would be a good idea to form a group of fellow enthusiasts/fanatics of the Wentworth puzzles, so that we can share news and ideas, and perhaps learn more about them. We hope that you will also upload photos of the puzzles you have completed.
We hope to learn from members which puzzles you find hardest to do, and which were the easiest, as we have a link with the Company and intend to suggest new idea’s for future puzzles. And what about their fascinating Whimsies? Have you found any really unusual ones, and do you know where the name first appeared?
Each time we complete a Wentworth puzzle we will post a picture of it in the photo folder, which is to the left of this page, we will also give it a “difficulty score” with 1 as the easiest, and 10 the most difficult. To date we have just over 600 of the Maxi 250 piece puzzles, and a few of the 140 and 75 piece examples.
Sadly, there is always the dreaded fear that one day you will acquire a second hand Wentworth puzzle that has several pieces missing. What do you do? Well, this where We might be able to help one another with our “Puzzle piece folder.”
So we invite you to share one of the most pleasurable and relaxing hobbies around, and to put those intriguing Whimsies in the places they belong, in a Cool and Classic,
WENTWORTH puzzle!
With all good wishes for happy puzzling, Lucy & Paul
