Another Spawn Title, another wasted disc.
Ok, so maybe this one is a step-up from the Spawn game published by
Sony on the orginal PlayStation, way back in the day, but really,
it's not pushing any new concepts or ideas, nor does it really do a
good job with the gameplay mechanics that have been performed
already. The graphics are fair and the sound is fine, but the
gameplay is screaming Devil May Try, but falls short of quality. But
don't worry, you want be crying from the game being too hard, cause
it's fairly easy. Spawn himself as a model looks pretty cool, but
when he begins to move into action, it's as if he was being
controlled by an RC remote control - stiff robot movement. Which is
said since Spawn has some really good voice acting. I think GTA has
better animation in their background characters, then Spawn. So you
lose that life like action. So is this game just garbage? No. I
have to say, it is the best Spawn game to date. It's just not the
best game to play. Not so great camera angles, linear gameplay that
becomes kinda repetitive and boring. I just think this one is
another miss for Spawn.
If you are a fan of the Todd McFarlane Spawn series, then check it
out for yourself, as you may find it appealing, as I'm not a fan of
the series, and I just didn't get into it like most fans will.
