I think you mean +2D and not 2D/

Yes, adding a bonuse to KD dice doesn't change the
rest of the KD rules. Its merely intended to show
that explosions have more KD potential than normal
attacks. And can in fact often KD you even when
you take no damage...

... Substitute KB above for all instances of KD, knockback doesn't necessarily have to knockdown, but it is a common result :). Dave....
