While mental barrier can be annoying my group hasn't had a huge
problem with it, you just need to be careful not to end your turn next
to an obstacle and they can't completely lock you down. I would
recomend starting with your base more in the open (not against the
edge of the map) and spread your warriors out a little bit so they
can't all be blocked by the same barrier.
