Ah the Diagonals and Straight lines.

A Straight line, is any shortest path between two points.
If there is an obstical in the way you do NOT have line of sight.
(But for L shape you can use an upside down L to get there - ie: there
is more than 1 shortest path).

Only when is says Straight Line Of Squares are you forced to move in
only 1 of 2 directions.
So, if you are the minotaur and you charge at someone its the Line Of
Sight number of squares that you use, (Not the line of Squares -
unless it says that, which I don't think it does).

If this is unclear let me know and I'll write it up nicely, as this is
a common question.
